In addition 1,054 examinations of sputum were made at the
Tuberculosis Dispensary: 114 from Clapham, 62 from Putney,
244 from Streatham, 233 from Tooting", and 401 from Wandsworth.
In 247 of the cases it was reported that the bacillus had
been found.

24 workshops were visited by the inspector and the materials
used for bedding and upholstery were examined.
Nine samples were procured and submitted for analysis.
All these were reported as complying with the standard of cleanliness
required.
