In the section dealing with Housing is detailed the steps the
Borough Council has taken, inter alia, in dealing with underground
rooms.
A summary of the activities of the London County Council in providing
new housing accommodation is also included.
To Dr. Donnelly and to Dr. Hill I desire to express my sincere
appreciation of their valuable work in their respective spheres—
Tuberculosis and Maternity and Child Welfare; and to the Staff
generally my thanks for their loyal co-operation.
