The Health Visitors collectively made 1,012 attendances at these Clinics.
(b) Maternity Clinics. These are conducted now at the Central
Clinic, Amersham Road, four Sessions per week being devoted to this
purpose. The service provided is designed to secure efficient ante-natal
and post-natal care. At present one of the Sessions is more or less set
aside for post-natal work.
Provision is made for X-Ray examination as an aid in the diagnosis
of obscure cases, 34 cases being thus dealt with.
The co-operation of the Medical Practitioners and of the Midwives
is sought and to them is forwarded the Report of the Medical Officer
upon any woman sent by them for examination.
Ante-Natal Clinic.
The work of the Ante-natal Clinic during recent years is illustrated
bv the following figures.
