Institutional provision for Unmarried Mothers, Illegitimate
Infants, etc.
No provision.
Ambulance Facilities.
These were fully set out in my report for 1930. The facilities
for the removal without charge of parturient women to hospitals within
the County of London which, hitherto, have been available only
between the hours of 11 p.m. and 8 a.m., are now extended to cover the
period by day as well as by night.
Health Visiting. See " Maternity and Child Welfare."
Infant Life Protection. For details, see " Maternity and Child
Welfare."
Orthopœdic Treatment. No scheme has been adopted, individual
children being referred to private doctors or to hospitals.
