Dr. Hill and to the Staff generally my thanks are due for their loyal
assistance. I acknowledge, gratefully, the ever-ready co-operation of
my colleagues in other Departments, while I desire to record my
indebtedness upon many occasions to the Town Clerk who, with broad
vision and understanding, coupled with intimate knowledge of Local
Government, has helped me with his counsel and advice in many
difficulties.
