NOTIFICATION OF BIRTHS ACT.
The number of births notified under the Act was 3237, notifications
being received as follows:—665 from doctors; 1,577 from midwives;
928 from parents: 133 from other persons. 117 parents were warned
in respect of their delay in complying with the Act.
