MISCELLANEOUS.
Insulin Treatment.
This service, which was commenced by the Council in 1928
with the sanction of the Ministry of Health was extended during
the year, and there are now two persons receiving treatment.
The cost to the Council up to the end of 1931 was £48 2s.
Bacteriological Examinations.
During the year 2,417 bacteriological examinations were
made at the Lister Institute.
The following Table shows the number of examinations
in each sub-district and for the whole Borough, also the disease
for which the examination was made, and the result.
