Demolition Order.
In consequence of a Representation made by me the Council
made a Demolition Order in respect of 68a, Clifton Street, Clapham,
which is a small 2-roomed house built in the back yard of another
house. The family in occupation, consisting of four persons,
have been accommodated by the Council.
I also made a Representation recommending the demolition
of 472 and 474, Streatham High Road, which are two old and
unsound houses which are unfit for habitation. The houses have
been vacated, and as the owner stated that he has no intention
of re-letting but proposed to demolish them, no Order has been
made.
