Analysts' Annual Report.
To the Wandsworth Borough Council.
Mr. Mayor, Madam and Gentlemen,
Herewith we have pleasure in submitting our annual report
on work performed by us under the Food and Drugs (Adulteration)
Act, 1928, during 1931.
During the year a total number of 2,000 samples, comprising
112 varieties of food and drugs were submitted by your Council's
Food Inspector and examined by us. Of these, 800 were taken
with the necessary formalities required by the Act, and 1,200
were procured informally.
The following statement shows the nature of the samples
submitted and the results of analyses, the details of Drugs and
" Other Articles " being given subsequently.
