TUBERCULOSIS.
Notification.— The total number of new cases of Tuberculosis
which came to the notice of the Department during
1930 was 688, as compared with GOO in 1929, 660 in 1928, 718
in 1927, 70G in 1926, 648 in 1925, 692 in 1924 and 597 in 1928.
The sources of information regarding the 638 new cases
notified in 1980 were as follows:—
Primary notifications on Form A 533
Primary notifications on Form B
Transfers from other Sanitary Authorities 103
Naval and military notifications 2
Total 638
Un-notified at death 45
Table XX.— In the form suggested by the Ministry of
Health—gives details regarding the site of disease, sex, and
age grouping of these new cases; also similar details regarding
deaths from Tuberculosis during the year.
