609 cases of overcrowding were relieved during the year, as follows :—
Re-housed by the L.C.C. :—

Total 609
130 of these cases were in dwellings belonging to the London County
Council, and one was in a dwelling belonging to the Borough Council.
During the past year it has become evident that when overcrowding
becomes an offence in this Borough, the services of an outdoor enquiry
officer will be necessary, if overcrowding is to be given the attention
necessary for its effective control.
