CLEANSING OF VERMINOUS ROOMS AND
THEIR CONTENTS.
During the year 1,544 verminous rooms were treated by the disinfecting
staff and 39,929 articles of bedding, clothing, etc., were dealt
with at the Council's Disinfecting Station.
430 Intimations and 129 Statutory Notices were served on various
owners, and 588 verminous rooms were stripped.
