frequently made use of in this Borough, is also eligible and very often
taken advantage of, when the mother of a family of young children is
admitted to a Hospital or Sanatorium for treatment, and when no satisfactory
arrangements can be made with relatives for the care of her family
during her absence.
During the year 26 children were dealt with under this scheme.
LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL HOSPITAL.
Dr. Crowe has, during the year, continued to pay weekly visits, in
the capacity of Consultant, to St. Giles' Hospital, Camberwell, where
special attention has been paid to all Southwark patients in that
Institution.
