Cleansing of Verminous Rooms and their Contents.
During the year the number of verminous rooms with the
bedding and other articles cleansed and disinfected in accordance with
the requirements of the London County Council (General Powers) Acts,
1907 and 1922, has increased in comparison with 1933. I append a table
showing the number of notices served upon the owners or occupiers of
the several premises in question, and the number of verminous rooms
cleansed and fumigated by the Council's disinfecting staff. I also submit
tables showing the number of articles dealt with at the disinfecting
stations.
