WOMEN'S WORKSHOPS.
The supervision of the Women's Workshops was carried out during
the year by Miss Burrows.
342 inspections and 377 re-inspections were made.
The following defects were discovered, and 6 intimations and 1
statutory notices were served in order to obtain the abatement of the
nuisances complained of:—
Water apparatus defective 9
Roofs defective 2
Rooms dirty .. 43
Closet Pans and Traps 8
Miscellaneous nuisances 31
Total 93
All the above-mentioned nuisances were remedied.
Miss Burrows also made 1,117 inspections of the women's conveniences
throughout the Borough.
