PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS 1925.
It was unnecessary to take action under these Regulations during
the year.
WORK OF THE TUBERCULOSIS DISPENSARY.
The following report has been received from Dr. Crowe, your
Clinical Tuberculosis Officer:—
The work of the Dispensary was carried out as usual during the year,
the sessions being held as follows:—

The number of new cases examined and the total number of attendances
etc., at the Dispensary will be found in Table No. 50.
Each Wednesday morning has been given up to the home visiting
of patients by the Tuberculosis Officer, and during the period under
review 346 such visits have been paid.
Special medical reports, numbering 58, have been sent to the Medical
Officer of Health recommending preferential housing accommodation for
families in which there are one or more cases of Tuberculosis.
It is very gratifying to be able to report that the Handicraft Centre,
inaugurated during the latter part of the year 1932, is now having a much
larger average attendance of patients each week. Owing to the enthusiastic
