INFLUENZA.
The deaths from this disease during the last five years were as
follows:—
1930 20 1933 98
1931 35 1934 24
1932 43
CEREBRO-SPINAL FEVER, ENCEPHALITIS LETHARGICA,
AND POLIOMYELITIS.
Twelve cases of Cerebro-Spinal Fever were notified during the year,
of which 5 died.
One case of Poliomyelitis was also notified, which was sent to hospital.
Two cases of Encephalitis Lethargica were notified, with 2 deaths.
ACUTE PRIMARY AND INFLUENZAL PNEUMONIA.
One hundred and eighty-one cases were notified during the year, of
which 70 were removed to hospital.
There were 34 deaths of these notified cases.
CANCER.
The number of deaths during the last five years, together with a table
showing the site of disease, for the period 1934 will be found hereunder:—
