Children attending school who are examined as contacts of definite
cases of Tuberculosis of the Lungs are referred to the School Medical
Officers for constant supervision. Should their health prove to be
unsatisfactory, or should any symptoms arise suggestive of Tuberculosis,
they are again referred to the Tuberculosis Officer for further examination
at the Dispensary.

On the completion of institutional treatment and on the patient's
return home, arrangements are made for their attendance at either the
Orthopaedic Department of a General Hospital, or at the After-Care
Clinic, held at the County Hall, by the Medical Superintendent of the
Sanatorium at which they received treatment.
Two patients suffering from Lupus of the Face have received Finsen
Light Treatment, with very excellent results.
One patient suffering from old-standing Lupus of the Palate has
received Artificial Sunlight Treatment, also with very good results.
