11.—A flannel gown, as provided, shall be worn whilst waiting for the
disinfection of clothing.
12.— A box of ointment, upon which are directions for use, shall be given
to each person on leaving.
13.—In the case of children mothers shall be advised to cut the hair
short and to use frequently a small-tooth comb.
14.—The room and contents belonging to persons being cleansed will be
simultaneously cleansed and disinfected.
15.—The bathing attendant must keep the bath rooms and contents in a
scrupulously clean condition and whilst attending to her duties
must wear the overall provided.
16.—The hours of attendance at the bathing station shall be from 10
o'clock, a.m. to 12 noon, and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays. Adults and casuals at any time.
Verminous Persons Cleansed during 1907.
During the year 1907 there were cleansed at the Bathing Station
458 persons. of which number 22 were adults applying to be cleansed
under the provisions of the Cleansing of Persons Act, 1897. The
remainder were children sent from the London County Council Schools.
