During the year 1,076 inspections and 3,263 revisits have been made
of the various registered houses in this district. 885 entries have been
made in the nuisance register. 379 intimation and 92 statutory notices
have been served. 366 sanitary works have been completed.

Water Supply re-instated 10
New Closet Pans provided 2
Paving amended 27
Roofs amended 44
New Dust Bins provided 20
Foul Rooms cleansed 496
Floor Ventilation provided 1
Houses ventilated 9
Cases of Overcrowding abated 36
Miscellaneous Nuisances (other than those above
specified) abated 76
Note:—During the year at different periods Miss Wilkin and Miss Richardson have
had the supervision of this district. Miss Elliott also carried out the duties of Inspector
in addition to those of No. II. District, for a time.
