REPORT OF THE VESTRY CLERK.
Gentlemen,
During the year ending Lady-day, 1890, the amount
collected on the Poor's Rate was £84,946 15s. 6d.; the amount
in the pound levied for the four quarters was 2/11, being for the
quarter to Midsummer, 9d.; to Michaelmas, 10d.; to Christmas, 7d.,
and to Lady-day, 9d.
During the previous year the Poor Rate was 2/2.
The amount of the Guardians' calls for the year ending Lady-day,
1889, was £57,000; and for the last year, £52,000; and for the halfyear,
Lady-day to Michaelmas, 1890, is £46,200.
The amount owing to the Guardians at Lady-day, 1890, was

found in the Balance Sheets, as audited and signed.

The statement hereto appended will give the details of the Receipts and Expenditure on account of the Sewers and General Rates. It is only necessary here to state that the rates levied for the last year were—
