CARRIAGEWAY PAVING.
The following works at the cost stated have been executed by the
oontractor during the past year:—
Opposite 106, Goldsmiths Row—
A portion of carriageway taken up, selected and relaid on lime,
concrete and grouted £10 6
Kingsland Road, for Post Office Telegraphs—
A portion of carriageway taken up and re-laid, 54 new cubes
supplied and laid all on concrete and grouted *£8 2 3
Nichols Square—
New cube channels laid with new 4x6 pitchings on concrete
and grouted *£154 7 2
Holywell Row—
Carriageway re-paved with new 8x9 pitchings, the approaches
at ends of streets with old pitchings dressed and re-laid on 6"

Livermere Road—
Crossings paved with new 4x6 and 4x4 pitchings on

Lamp Refuge, Whitmore Road by De Beauvoir Crescent—
Four 18 x 18 x 9 Granite Quadrant Blocks, supplied and fixed,
cube roadway repaired and made good with new 3x6

Hoxton Street, opposite Asylum—
A portion of cube carriageway taken up and re-paved with pickled
wood blocks by the Improved Wood Pavement Co. *£91 19 0
Hoxton Street, opposite Asylum—

Old Street, by Fire Station—
A portion of crossing re-paved with 6" pickled blocks on 6"
