The "Workhouse and Infirmary belonging to the
Holborn Union in the City Road, is by
Local Act rated at £19 only.
The Shoreditch Workhouse and Infirmary is not
Assessed.
The total of the above is £142,514, which shows that the
ordinary Assessments, under £500, amount to £499,866.
THE TOWN HALL.
During the year the Large Hall has been let 107 times; the
Council Chamber 7 times; the Committee Rooms have been used
by Local Societies, mostly free of charge.
The receipts for letting Hall, Council Chamber and Committee
Rooms were £688 14s. 6d.
