HOUSES UNFIT FOR HABITATION—Nos. 5 to 12,
REFORM PLACE.
These houses had repeatedly been under sanitary notice, and
much effort was made by the Leaseholder from time to time to keep
the houses fit for habitation. The houses having reverted to the
freeholder some time back, and having since then been allowed to
fall into a state of dilapidation, which, added to original structural
defects, rendered them unfit for habitation. Notice was therefore
served on the owner, requiring the houses to be closed. This was
done and they are now demolished.
