was £69,095 4s. 0d., an increase upon the previous year of

Of these sums collected by the Vestry as for Poor Rates, large

Metropolitan Asylum Board's charges are paid, there is a sum of
£11,828 12s. 11d. paid to the Commissioners of Metropolitan
Police, and £590 19s. 1d. for Registration, &c., expenses.
From the Sewers Rate is paid the Metropolitan Board's
Consolidated Rate of £13,336 4s. 4d. From the General Rate
is paid the School Board Rate of £14,242 12s. 11d., and the Toll
Bridges Precept of £1,899 9s. 8d. All these charges are based
