Two paviors and five laborers were employed in repairing
the paved roads, and repaying trenches at a cost of £420 19s. 7d.
for the year, and the Gas and Water Companies contributed
£176 19s. 0d.
There are about fifty-one miles of roads in the parish, about
ten-and-a-half miles are paved, the remainder being McAdam and
Ballast.
