remainder, about forty-one miles, being Macadam and Ballast.

Three masons and three laborers were employed in keeping in
repair the footways (one in repairing trenches), at a cost of £368 4s. 1d.
for the year, and £210 6s. 6d. was contributed by the Gas and Water
Companies for repairing trenches.
