to pay during their occupation, by which a check, to some extent, is
made upon those who would leave after a few months tenancy without
contributing to the parochial exchequer; the effect being that the local
taxation will become more equally distributed.
The further classified statements appended, to which I beg to refer,
give a general view of the financial affairs of the Parish.
