PAVING WORKS.
The following Paving Works have been done during the year ending
25th March, 1869,
Hyde Place.—A new Granite Crossing laid down at a cost of
£26 12s. l0d.
East lload.—From Brunswick place to Mr. Green's gateway, a new
Granite Channel laid down and tho footway relaid with new 3-inch
York, at a cost of £108 9s. 5d.
Haclcney Road (portion of).—The footway relaid with new 3-inch
York (where necessary) at a cost of £320 14s. 6d.
Brunswick Place.—The footway relaid with old stone at a cost of
£33 0s. 8d.
Union Street, Haclcney Road.—The carriageway repaved with old
Granite Cubes at a cost of £87 10s. 8d.
Curtain Road.—The carriageway paved with new Granite Cubes at a
cost of £5724 3s. 7d., and the footways repaved (where necessary) with
new 2^-incli York, and new Granite Curb, at a cost of £341 13s. 3d.
Susannah Row.—The carriageway relaid at a cost of £72 12s. 9d.,
and tho footways repaved at a cost of £17 14s. 1d.
New Inn Yard.—Tho carriageway relaid at a cost of £110 7s. 5d.,
and tho footways repaved with new 3-inchYork, at a cost of £255 2s. Id.
Queens Road.—The footways paved with new 2½-inch York, 4 ft. 6 ins.
wide, at a cost of £324 3s. 8d.
Great Cambridge Street.—From Canal Bridge to Hope Wharf, the
footway paved with new 2½-inch York, at a cost of £29 10s. 2d.
Trafalgar Road (portion of).—The footway paved with new 2½-inch
York, at a cost of £3 19s. 1d.
Edward Sired, Wenlock.—The footway repaved with new 3-inch
York, at a cost of £149 17s. 7d.
