VESTRY RATES.
The total amount of assessment on the property in the parish,
according to the rateable value, at March, 18G4, was £289,201.

The loss upon the collection for the quarter ending Christmas 1863,
has been about £1 14s. 1d. per cent.
MAIN DRAINAGE RATE.
A Rate of 3d. in the pound was made by the Vestry to pay the
amount of the Precept issued by the Metropolitan Board of Works, for
£3322 3s. 0d. the proportion to be paid by this parish towards the yearly
expenses of the Board, in regard to the Main Drainage of the Metropolis
to the 1st August, 1864.
The Rate was collected on the Michaelmas and Christmas 1863, and
Lady-day 1864, quarters, being a penny for each quarter; the account
stands thus:—

leaves a balance in the hands of the Treasurer on the 25th

The Vestry paid the sum of £2462 12s. 11d. to the Metropolitan Board of Works
on the 20th day of June, 1863, being the proportion to bo paid by this parish towards
the general expenses of the Board, for the year 1863, upon a Precept dated the 2nd day
of January, 1863.
Another Precept has been received from the Metropolitan Board for the sum of
£3182 10s 9d. dated the 1st day of January, 1864, for the general expenses of the Board
for the year 1864; this amount is due on the 24th Juno, 1864.
