COMMON LODGING HOUSES.
The Common Lodging Houses are under the control of the London
County Council, whose Inspectors visit them regularly. They are generally
to be found in a satisfactory condition. They now number 49 houses, which
are licensed to 18 persons. 39 are licensed for men, 8 for women, and 2 for
married couples.
