The amount necessary to be raised for the General Rate, for the
half-year ending 31st March, 1892, is £86,348, to meet which a Kate
of 1s. 1d. in the £ will be required, an increase of a penny in the £ upon
the Rate for the corresponding period of last year. Of this sum the
School Board takes £38,562, or rather more than 5¾d. in the £. This
is less than for the corresponding half of last year, owing to the increased
assessment upon which the Rate is levied.
SEWERS RATE.
A Rate of ½d. in the £ will be required to defray the expenses
connected with the Sewerage of the Parish for the six months ending
31st March, 1892. This is the same as for the corresponding period of
last year.
