59 new gullies have been constructed, the total number of gullies
in the parish being now 4,465.
Table B, which is annexed, will be found to contain the particulars
as to the lengths and sizes of the sewers in the parish, including
those main sewers which are under the control of the London County
Council.
URINALS.
The old 4-stall iron urinal which originally stood at Islington Green
(referred to in the last report) has been re-erected on the north-east
side of Hornsey Road, near the Great Northern Railway Bridge.
The 6-stall urinal on the south east side of the North Road, Cattle
Market, near Caledonian Road; the 6-stall urinal in Market Road, near
Caledonian Road; and the 6-stall urinal in Holloway Road,opposite the
"Half Moon" P.H., referred to in the last report, have now been
completed and opened.
The 4-stall iron urinal which stood on the footpath on the north side
of Richmond Road, by the Cab Rank, opposite Barnsbury Road, has been
abolished, and a new 3-stall slate urinal erected in lieu of the same in
the new recreation ground near the site of the former urinal.
A 3-stall urinal has also been erected in Sermon Lane, at the
Liverpool Road end.
The cost of the construction of these new urinals, including the
re-erection of the urinal at Hornsey Road, has amounted to the sum of
£736 1s. l1d.
The cost of water supplied by the New River Company to the
urinals during the year has amounted to £55 1s.
The urinals in the parish number 38, and contain 165 compartments.
