Your Committee viewed the Electric Lighting Works of the Houseto-House
Company at Brompton on February 17th, and was highly
pleased with the manner in which the lighting of that district appeared
to be provided for.
Under the circumstances, your Committee now recommends:—
(a) That upon a satisfactory undertaking as regards the
conditions before referred to being entered into by the Houseto-House
Electric Light Supply Company, Limited, the formal
consent of the Vestry be given to that Company's Provisional
Order.
(b) That the Brush Electrical Engineering Company,
Limited, be informed that the Vestry is not prepared at present
to give its consent to that Company's Provisional Order.
(Signed)
Hy. Saml. FRIEND,
Chairman.
