Channels.—The channels in the following streets
were taken up and re-laid with secondhand granite
cubes, from Depot, on concrete:—
Cumberland Terrace.
Granville Square (eastern portion).
Vernon Square. Percy Square. River Street.
Wilmington Street.
Wilmington Square (east side).
Amwell Street (from Gt. Percy Street to Bond
Street).
And the following granite channels re-laid:—
Cumming Street (between Pentonville Road
and Collier Street.
Amwell Street (between Upper Chadwell Street
and Claremont Square.
And channels paved in
Holford Square (between Bond Street and
Holford Mews), and on north, south and
east sides of the enclosure.
Macadam Roads.—The following Macadam roads
were re-metalled and steam rolled:—
Cumberland Terrace.
Granville Square (eastern portion).
Buxton Street. Brewer Street.
Vernon Square. Percy Square.
Cumming Street (between Pentonville Road
and Collier Street).
River Street.
Wilmington Street.
Wilmington Square (east side)
