Dusting, Slopping, &£.,
For the Year to March 25th, 1893.
Dusting.—During the year 9265 loads of dust and 671
loads of trade refuse have been removed from the Parish. After
sifting same, 152 freights of ashes and breeze, containing 9821
chaldrons have been removed from the Wharf, for which a sum
of £558 0s. 1d. has been received, being an average of £3 13s. 8d.
per freight, as compared with £3 6s. 4d., £3 6s. 10d., and
£3 14s. 0d., for the three previous years. 21 freights of hardcore
have been removed, for which barges have been hired at a
cost of £95 14s. 6d.
