INSPECTOR'S REPORT,
For the Quarter ending June 30th, 1887.
To the Vestry of the Parish of St. James and St.
John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I beg respectfully to report that during
the quarter ending June 30th, 1887, I purchased
and submitted to the Analyst, the following
Articles:—8 milk, 3 butter, 2 coffee, 1 beer,
1 mustard, 1 oatmeal.
C 28. Wm. Osborne, High Street, for selling
milk adulterated with 6 percent. added water.
Fined 20/-, 2/- costs.
C 34. Wm. Greenham, 21a, Rodney Street,
selling ½-lb. of butter adulterated with 75 percent.
of foreign fats. Fined 40/-, 2/- costs.
C 35. Mr. Bridle, 28a, Collier Street, selling
½-lb. of butter adulterated with 85 per cent of
foreign fats. Fined 40/-, 2/- costs.
C 39. W. Evans, 156, Hoxton Street, selling
milk adulterated with 6 percent of added water.
Fined 5/-, 2/- costs.
