SURVEYOR'S REPORT.
To the Vestry of the Parish of Saint James and
Saint John, Clerkenwell.

Gentlemen,
I beg to lay before you my Report upon the
Works, &c., executed by your Yestry during the
year ending Lady-day, 1888.
SEWERS AND GULLIES.
One hundred and two sewers were cleansed and
repaired, 1 new side entrance cover was fixed, 5 new
gullies constructed, 345 cleansed and repaired, 4
trapped, 8 gully drains reconstructed, 12 new gully
grates fixed, and 3 patent gullies, and two flushing
shafts constructed. Two new air grates were fixed.
One man-hole was constructed in John Street.
One hundred and sixty-three loads of deposit were
removed from the sewers and gullies.
