Acts of Parliament, Copies for use of
Borough.—In May, 1887, the Vestry received
a letter lrom the Home Secretary, stating that
for the future a copy of the Public Acts of Parliament
will be deposited with the Vestry Clerks
of the principal Parishes in each of the Boroughs
for the use of the Borough, and copies have
consequently been forwarded to the Vestry Clerk,
as representing the principal Parish in the Borough
of Finsbury, to be bound and preserved for the
use of the Borough.
Artizans Dwellings' Acts.—On the 17th November,
1887, the Vestry received from the Medical
Officer of Health a representation under Torrens'
Act, that No. 19, Little Sutton Street was in
a state and condition dangerous to health, and
the Vestry consequently leferred the matter to
the Surveyor for consideration and report. The
Surveyor, on the 1st December, repoited that the
premises could be made in a state fit for human
habitation by certain repairs being done. Such
reports were then served upon the owner, who
attended the Vestry on the 15th December, and
stated, as an objection to the making of the order,
that the tenants of the house were under notice to
quit, and when the house was empty it was his
intention to pull it down and rebuild it, but that
