of the
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
FOR, 1886.
To the Vestry of St. James and St. John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour of laying before you my 31st
Annual Report, viz.:—That for the year 1886.
The number of deaths occurring from all causes in Clerkenwell,
during the year 1886, was 1,170. The annual average for the last
ten years was 1,281, so that the deaths were 111 less than the
average. The deaths in 1885 having been 1,195, those in 1886
were 25 less than in the preceding year.
