MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
FOR 18S5.
To the Vestry of St. James and St. John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour of laying before you my 30th
Annual Report, viz. :—That for the year 1885.
The number of deaths occurring from all causes in Clerkenwell,
during the year 1885, was 1,195. The annual average for the
last ten years was 1,298, so that the deaths wore 103 less than
the average. The deaths in 1884 having been 1,303, those in
1885 were 108 less than in the preceding year.
