For the Quarter ending 30th June, 1882.
To the Vestry of the Parish of Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I have received during the quarter ending
on the 30th June, 1882, from your Inspectors, Messrs.
Thain and Cheshire, 27 samples for analysis, consisting
of Bread, Milk, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Baking
Powder, Marmalade, Mustard, Pepper, Condensed
Milk, and Gin. Six samples have proved to be
adulterated, namely, one of Milk and five of Gin, as
shewn in the following detailed statement.
