For the Quarter ending 25th Dec., 1881.
To the Vestry of the Parish of Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
During the Quarter ending on the 25th
December, 1881, I have received from your Inspectors,
Messrs. Thain and Cheshire, 25 samples for analysis,
consisting of 9 of Milk, 6 of Mustard, 1 of Pepper, 4
of Coffee, 4 of Gin, and 1 of Cocoa Powder, and that
two of the samples of Milk were poor but unadulterated,
and that the Cocoa Powder was a mixture, but sold as
such.
