REPORT

MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
FOR 1873.
WITH TABLE OF CAUSES OF DEATH, &c.
To the Vestry of St. James and St. John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
In accordance with the requirement of the Act, I beg to lay
before you my 18th Annual Report, being that for the year 1873.
The number of deaths arising from all causes in Clerkenwell
during the year 1873, was 1513. The average number of deaths,
per annum, during the last 10 years was 1538; hence the deaths
were 25 below the average. The number of deaths in 1872 being

1323, the deaths were 190 more than in the preceding year.
