Mortuary.
During the year 1919 the bodies of 178 persons were received
at the Mortuary in Sheepcote Lane. On 165 of these
bodies inquests were held, and 13 bodies were received at the
Mortuary for sanitary and other reasons.
Of the 165 bodies upon which inquests were held, in 98
instances post-mortem examinations were made.
The results of the inquests held during 1919 were as
follows:—
