Notifiable Infectious Diseases.
During 1919, under the Notification Clauses of the Public
Health (London) Act, 1891, and the Orders and Regulations
made thereunder, 2,077 cases of infectious diseases (excluding
tuberculosis) were notified, including: Measles, 699; German
measles, 100; cerebro-spinal fever, 9; acute polio-myelitis, 6.
Cases of infectious diseases, notified during 1919, arranged
in Wards, and the case-rate per 1,000 population are shown
in the following tables:—
