FACTORIES ACTS, 1937 and 1948 (cont.)
Seven certificates were issued under section 34 of the
Factories Act, 1937, that the factories to which they related
were provided with such means of escape in case of fire for
the persons employed therein as may be reasonably required in
the circumstances.
There were 37 outworkers on the register at the end of
the year. Seventy-three visits were made but no infringements
found.
