DISINFECTION.
(a) During the year disinfection was carried out at forty-three
premises in which the following diseases occurred
Poliomyelitis (or suspected) 18
Suspected Para-typhoid B. 1
Scarlet fever 5
Tuberculosis 10
Meningococcal infection 2
Miscellaneous 7
Disinfection was also carried out at twenty-four premises
on request, the occupier in each case paying the cost.

(b) The total number of articles disinfected by steam at the Tolworth Hospital, or destroyed was:—
