Social Conditions
Surbiton is, for the main part, non-industrial. There are,
however, small factories in Surbiton proper and larger ones in the
By Pass area.
The town is well served with both open spaces and recreation
grounds and a great improvement has taken place along the course of
the Hogsmaill Stream.
