DISINFECTION.
(a) During the year disinfection was carried out at
thirty-five premises in which the following diseases
occurred
Anterior Poliomyelitis (or suspected) 7
Mumps 1
Para-typhoid B 2
Scarlet fever 8
Tuberculosis 8
Miscellaneous 9
Disinfection was also carried out at thirty-four other
premises on request, the occupier in each case paying the cost.

(b) The total number of articles disinfected by steam at the Tolworth Hospital, or destroyed was:-
